I'm Amritpal, but you can call me Amu.

I was born in Punjab, India, in 1999 and immigrated to the United States at seven. Growing up between two cultures shaped how I see the world—always questioning, always observing. Language wasn’t always the easiest way for me to express myself, but art and pop culture became my way of understanding and communicating with the world around me.

For me, creating is a form of liberation. It’s the purest way I know to express my emotions, explore my identity, and make sense of the everyday. Every piece I create is a fragment of my mind, externalized. My work spans across printmaking, digital art, and design, allowing me to constantly experiment and evolve.

At its core, my work is about reflection—on myself, on society, and on the emotions that shape our experiences. Through every piece, I learn something new, and that curiosity is what keeps me creating.
